Provider Directory Software for Health Plans and MCOs
Give members a find-a-doctor experience that works on any phone: search by ZIP code, specialty and accepting new patients, in their language, on your own domain. Built for health plans, Medicaid and CHIP managed care organizations, marketplace plans and provider networks.
The live demo is built on public NPPES data for Texas providers. It shows how a plan's directory looks and works. It is a demonstration, not a live provider directory.
Built for How Members Actually Search
Most directory visits happen on a phone, often from someone who needs care soon. MAPXER keeps the path to the right provider short.
Find Care Near Me
ZIP code and radius search with the distance to each provider, and a map that updates the list as members move it.
Filter by What Matters
Specialty, provider type, accepting new patients, language, or any field in your provider data. Filters are configured, not coded.
Every Affiliation, One Location
When one provider practices at the same address under several affiliations, members see one pin that lists every record, so nothing is hidden underneath another pin.
Designed for Phones
A full-screen map and list with a one-tap switch between them, and provider details that open in a panel sized for a phone screen.
In the Member's Language
English, Spanish and Vietnamese out of the box, with labels and listing text translated per language. More languages can be added.
Print the List
Members and member services staff can print the providers they are looking at to PDF, narrowed to the area on the map.
Directory Accuracy You Can Show
Health plans are measured on how accurate their directories are. MAPXER was designed with accreditation and regulatory directory requirements in mind, and gives your provider data team the tools to keep listings current and to show what changed.
- Effective dates on every listing. Add providers ahead of their start date and end-date terminations, so the directory shows the right network on the right day.
- Field-level change history. With MAPXER Insights, every edit, import and geocoding update records what changed, from what, to what, and when.
- Spreadsheet import with a dry run. Map your file's columns once, preview every insert, update and removal, then commit. Each run is logged, even when nothing changed.
- Location accuracy built in. A listing without a valid map location is never shown, so members are not sent to the wrong place.
- Works from your provider data. Load from a SQL table or view fed by your core administration or credentialing system. Your data stays in your database.
- Usage you can report on. Insights shows visits, the filters members use most, most-viewed providers and where members search from.
MAPXER supports your directory accuracy program. Your plan's own review processes remain the system of record for accreditation and regulatory attestations.

Questions Health Plans Ask
Can MAPXER use our existing provider data?
Yes. MAPXER reads your provider data from a SQL Server table or view, typically fed by your core administration or credentialing system. Spreadsheet updates can be imported through MAPXER Insights with column mapping and a dry run before anything changes.
Where is our data hosted?
On your own Windows Server and in your own database, or on an instance we host for you. Visitor analytics are stored in your database too, with no third-party tracker.
Does the directory work on phones?
Yes. On a phone the map and the list each get the full screen with a one-tap switch between them, and provider details open in a panel sized for the screen.
Which languages are supported?
English, Spanish and Vietnamese are included. Labels and listing text are translated per language, and more languages can be added.
How long does it take to go live?
Days, once your provider data is ready. We configure the filters, listing layout and branding, and handle the deployment.
Is the demo real provider data?
The demo uses public NPPES data for Texas providers to show how a plan directory works. It is a demonstration and not a live provider directory.
